BACKGROUND

A Family Tradition

Corinne Hoover Six knew from a very young age that she would be an attorney. The daughter of Judge Kim Hoover and the granddaughter of long time Cuyahoga Falls attorney Orval R. Hoover, Corinne grew up in a family that excelled in the legal field and passed onto her a desire to help people when they need help the most. Now, Corinne carries on her family tradition as an attorney in private practice in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, in the same building that her father, grandfather and other extended family members practiced before her.

Education and Experience

Corinne is a proud alumna of both The University of Akron School of Law and Ohio University, where she earned her law degree and undergraduate degree, respectively. After college and before practicing law, Corinne gained relevant experience in the business and political fields, where she managed her family’s property business, ran her father’s judicial campaigns, and served as an office manager and bookkeeper for different law practices. Corinne also worked at the Summit County Board of Elections where she was responsible for hiring and overseeing the training of election poll workers. Since then, Corinne also gained a wealth of experience in the legal field, which includes, but is not limited to, working as a law clerk and apprentice to her grandfather and his firm, serving as a law clerk to Judge Linda Teodosio of the Summit County Juvenile Court and to the Appellate Division of the Summit County Prosecutor’s Office, working as a part time Assistant Law Director/Prosecutor to the City of Tallmadge and serving as an associate to two different attorneys who served as Special Counsel to the Attorney General. After she earned her law degree, she became Special Counsel to the Attorney General and currently serves as Special Counsel.

Community Involvement

Corinne is actively involved in several different community and charitable organizations. As a member of her church, Corinne serves on her church council and as a Sunday school teacher and camp counselor for Royal Family Kids’ Camp, a camp that serves abused, neglected and abandoned children.

Corinne is also actively involved in her local bar association, as a general member and as a member of the leadership council of the Ab Initio Section. Corinne also serves as a volunteer for an annual Street Law Summit put on for area high school students and as a co-chair for Law Explorers, which introduces high school students to the legal field and various legal oriented occupations.

Corinne grew up in Cuyahoga Falls and Peninsula and therefore, chose to base her law practice in Cuyahoga Falls as well.
